Jacquelin Viola Schlenner was born July 22, 1932, the daughter of Elmer and Sylvia (Luedtke) Maronde in St. Ignatius, Montana. The family moved to Wood Lake when she was a young child. Jackie graduated from the Wood Lake High School.
She was united in marriage to Bernard Rohlik on July 25, 1953, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seaforth, Minnesota. Jackie worked at the Belview Nursing Home for many years and also spent some time with home health care. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved to sing, enjoyed watching birds and reading. Bernard passed away on December 12, 1990
Jackie was united in marriage to Everett Schlenner on May 11, 1996, at Wood Lake Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Jackie passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Granite Falls Health Care Center. She was 87 years of age.
She is survived by her children: Greg (Lori) Rohlik of Oregon, Lisa Ryer (Willy Engstrom) of Clarkfield, Joe (Gail) Rohlik of Wood Lake and Danita (Dick) Fischer of Bushnell, South Dakota; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister Cheryl Coulson of Redwood Falls and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers: Delray and Don, brother-in-law Jack Coulson and great granddaughter Chasity.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:30 am at Rock Haven Church in Granite Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
