Irene Kinney

Irene Esther Kinney was born on February 3, 1917 in Vallers Township, Lyon County, Minnesota to Otto and Mary Burthus. After she and Wayne Kinney were married, they operated KinneyÂ?s Riverside Nursery and Antique Shop in Granite Falls for many years before Wayne became ill. On Friday, February 22nd, Irene died at the Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall, Minnesota. She was 91 years old. She is survived by her sister Carolyn (Mrs. Robert) Hirmer of Marshall, Minnesota, her brother Harry Burthus of Granite Falls, three nephews and two nieces. Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband Wayne.
