Henrietta Olson

Henrietta Ceceilia Olson was born on February 27, 1924, the daughter of Anton and Lena (Saeger) Tillemans in Milbank, South Dakota. She was baptized, confirmed and attended school all in Milbank.Henrietta was married in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Roy Olson. The couple lived in Raymond before moving to Clara City where Roy passed away in December, 1962. Henrietta enjoyed crafts, sewing, paint by number, embroidering dishtowels, gardening, canning the produce for her family and the love she had for her cats.On Sunday, January 5, 2014, she died peacefully while a resident of the Clara City Care Center. She was 89 years old. Surviving family includes her son Allen and his wife Betty of Clara City, her daughter-in-law Connie Olson of Appleton, 5 grandchildren: Scott (& Trudy) Olson, Corey (& Christa) Olson, Todd Olson, Angie Schueler, and Amber Olson; and 4 great grandchildren: Nicole Olson, Austin Olson, Kolton Schueler, and Ellie Schueler.In addition to her parents, Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband Roy, her son Clifford, 3 brothers and 4 sisters (one in infancy).
