Harold Florian Landmark was born on September 13, 1923 in Big Bend Township, Minnesota, the son of Theodore and Louise Landmark. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. On November 8, 1944, Harold married Petra Nydahl. He worked for the railroad and drove truck until they began farming in 1951. In 1955, Harold and Petra and their children, Danny and Sharol, moved to Stony Run Township where he has lived since. He was a member of the Sportsmen’s Club and served on the United Fund Board. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved farming.
On June 12, 1976, Harold married Glenna Cline Weaver. Harold and Glenna spent summers on the farm and winters in Texas. Harold and Glenna have generously supported Mexican Missions and built a church in memory of Danny in Mexico. At home on the farm, he especially enjoyed visiting with his dear friends Gunval and Richard. Two weeks ago, he built them each a stool in his machine shed.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife Petra, son Daniel, parents Theodore and Louise, brothers Paul and David and sister Evangeline.
He is survived by his wife Gleanna, daughter Sharol (Steve) Stenson, grandchildren Amy Koch, Andrea (Ron) Winans, and Matthew Stenson, great grandchildren Isa and Annika Koch, Cade and Bella Winans, step children Dorlene (Andy) Anderson, Deeanna (Wes) Cypher, Ron (Ellen) Weaver, step grandchildren Vicki, Nathan and Kristen Anderson, Missy, Glenna Marie, Marcella, and Annie Cypher, great grandchildren Zaden, Aidan and twins Evangeline and Amaya.
