Hailey Berghuis, 19, of Clara City, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13th at 10:30 am at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City. Visitation will begin at 9 am on Friday at the church and continue until the time of the service.
Hailey Ann Berghuis was born May 24, 2003, the daughter of Debra Berghuis in Willmar, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City. She graduated from MACCRAY High School with the Class of 2021. She continued her education at Minnesota West and was pursuing five degrees in Business and Accounting. She was a member of Business Professionals of America in both high school and college and was an active member of Bethany Reformed Church.
Hailey loved spending time with family and playing games with her cousins. She enjoyed babysitting and thrift shopping. She had a very positive attitude and put everyone's interest before her own.
She is survived by her mother Debra Berghuis of Clara City; siblings: Adrienne, Jackson, and Payten; Grandparents: Sheila (Michael) Fath of St. Cloud, Florida and Steve Berghuis of Glencoe; uncle Brad (Karen) Berghuis of Clear Lake and their children: Brookelyn and Madison; and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Berend Davids and great uncle Scott Berghuis.
