Gordon Gustafson, 92, of Granite Falls, passed away Saturday, November 7th at the Clarkfield Care Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 13th at 3:00 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Prairie Home Hospice.
Gordon W. Gustafson was born February 22, 1928, the son of A. Albert and Emma (Johnson) Gustafson in Hanley Falls.
Gordon was baptized at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church in Hanley Falls. He grew up in the Granite Falls area and attended country school. He graduated from the Granite Falls High School.
Gordon served his country in the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in September of 1952. He returned to the Granite Falls area and began working on the family farm.
He is survived by his extended family and friends.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, A. Albert and Emma Gustafson, brothers, Donald, John and Roy Gustafson and sister, Jean Singh.
