Gladys Martha Hasner was born August 19, 1931 in Canby, Minnesota, the daughter of Grover C. and Bertha (Jesme) Ouverson. She passed away Monday January 28, 2008 at the Minneota Manor Health Care Center in Minneota, Minnesota. She attained the age of 76 years. Gladys grew up in the Canby area and graduated from Canby High School. On September 13, 1952 Gladys was united in marriage to Clayton R. Hasner in Canby, Minnesota. To this union six children were born. Gladys owned and operated restaurants with her husband Clayton in Minneota and Glenwood. She later worked as a Dietary Aide at Project Turnabout in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Gladys was a very active person who enjoyed bowling, but continued to work at the Granite Falls Senior Center and Granite Ridge Place. Gladys is survived by her children- daughters: Linda (Anthony) Omann of St. Stephen, MN, Judy (James) Lanners of Minneota, MN, Sandra (James) Verscchelde of Minneota, MN; sons- David (Karen) Hasner of Ogelve, MN, Todd Hasner of Marshall, MN, Keith (Michelle) Hasner of Lakeville, MN; thirteen grand children and eight great-grand children; one brother- James (Claire) Ouverson of Canby, MN. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clayton (in 1986) and six sisters: Esther Fredricks, Iona Dowl, Norma Ewing, Ardis Johnson, Alice Tesch, and a sister in infancy.
