Gerry Enstad, 95, of Granite Falls, passed away at the Granite Falls Care Center on Monday, December 13th. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 11 am at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorials prefered to Stony Run Cemetery.

Geraldine Marie Enstad was born December 25, 1925, the daughter of Joseph C. & Nancy Ann Larson, in Raymond, South Dakota. She graduated from the Clarkfield High School, 77 years ago, on June 2, 1944. Following high school she received her degree from Business School in Minneapolis. She worked for several years.

Gerry was united in marriage to Obert Enstad on November 18, 1950, at Bergen Lutheran Church. To this union three children were born: Steven, Joan and Tom. Gerry and Obert raised their family on a farm in Stony Run Township and retired to Granite Falls in 1994.

Gerry was active with the Golden Grands, Canasta Card Club, Tuesday Night Dinner Crew and was a faithful member of Stony Run Lutheran Church and later the Granite Falls Lutheran Church.

Gerry passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at the Granite Falls Care Center. She was 95 years 11 months of age.

She is survived by her children: Steve (Sharon) Enstad and Joan Taylor all of Granite Falls; grandchildren: Lindsay, Ross & Erin Taylor; step grandchildren: Wendy (Anton) Towne and Sara (Roy) Gjerde; great grandchildren: Xavier, Zach, Gavyn & Sydney Towne, Hadley, Aksel, Sena & Torger Gjerde, Christian & Reese Taylor; sisters: Joyce Fjerkenstad, Janice Harmon and Arlyss (Willis) Johnson; brother Gene (Doris) Larson; daughter-in-law Holly and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Obert, son Tom and brother Gary.
