Geraldine Wengert

Gerry died at the age of 98, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Clara City Care Center. She was born in Elma, Iowa on October 10, 1918. She married Dick Wengert and together they raised two children, Margaret and Rick. Gerry and Dick spent most of their adult lives in Granite Falls. Gerry was a teacher and enjoyed her profession in both Granite Falls and Hutchinson, Minnesota. She had many friends and acquaintances who she cherished and her favorite times were spent with her family.
Gerry is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Wayne) Barnacle, daughter-in-law Barb (Joe) Garding, four grandchildren: Amy (Craig) Miller, Sara (Steve) Wadman, Christopher (Heather) Wengert, Daniel (Erin Twohy) Garding , and six great grandchildren: Hannah and Sam, Grace and Riley, Ricky and Matt and one sister, Jane Sullivan.
