George Charles Boman was born on July 4, 1924, in Montevideo, MN, the son of August and Elna (Nilsson) Boman. He was baptized in the Christian faith and grew up on the home farm, attending country school in Chippewa County.
George spent his whole life farming the home farm. He enjoyed the farming lifestyle, living with his sister Hulda until her passing in 1985. George was united in marriage to Judilyn Gayudan of the Philippines and together they operated the family farm. George liked going to farm shows, talking about farming and was especially fond of the Allis-Chalmers brand of farm machinery.
In the early morning hours on Friday, July 4, 2014, on his birthday, George died peacefully at the Granite Falls Manor. He was 90 years of age.
He is survived by his wife Judilyn, of Granite Falls, his mother-in-law Angela Gayudan of Granite Falls, dear friend Richard Rust of Sioux Falls, SD and was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Hulda.
