George Edward Bennett was born on Sunday, December 9, 1928 in Howell, Michigan. He started his journey on his 86th birthday, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Granite Falls, Minnesota.
George met his wife Lucille while both were actively working in civic Upper Sioux organizations. He was preceded by his parents, Frank and Jennie Bennett, his sisters Florence Ulrich, Frances ‘Fran’ Thompson, Jean Bennett and Doris ‘Dewey’ Running; his brothers Royal ‘Buster’ Bennett, James ‘Jim’ Bennett, Robert ‘Bob’ Bennett, and Ernest ‘Ernie’ Bennett.
