Eugene Armand Huth was born December 16, 1930 in Camden, New Jersey the son of Eugene and Louise Huth. He passed away February 12, 2013 in Granite Falls, Minnesota.He attended Haddonfield Friends School, and graduated from Haddonfield High School. He continued his education by attending and receiving post graduate degrees at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and Glassboro State College. Gene proudly served his country as a sergeant in the United States Army from of 1952 to 1954. He served in Korea from April 1953 to July 1954. During which time he taught Korean students to speak and read English. Upon his honorable discharge he returned home and worked at Penn Fruit Groceries, Mobile Oil Company and taught school for seven years. Gene served as a school counselor for 7th and 8th grade students at West Deptford Middle School, a job he held for 32 years.In October of 1954 Gene was united in marriage to Margaret Kent. They enjoyed traveling to foreign countries right up to Margaret's passing in 1995.On October 18, 2009 Gene was united in marriage to longtime family friend Marie Anspach. They enjoyed traveling and Gene especially enjoyed spending time with his "new" family.Gene is survived by his wife: Marie Anspach of Granite Falls; step children: Karen Kortgard of Granite Falls; Doris Loe of Montevideo; Paul (Charlann) Anspach of Clarkfield; Janice (David) Lee of Dawson; Lance (Linda) Anspach of Albert Lea; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Margaret; and a step son Dale Anspach.
