Elizabeth Muller

Elizabeth Dora Muller was born January 3, 1917 in Clara City, the only child of Henry and Dora Klinghagen. At the age of 95 years, she passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. She was baptized in February of 1917 at the Bethany Reformed Church and received her education in country school. On September 27, 1939 Elizabeth was united in marriage to Kasjen Muller in Clara City. Elizabeth was a homemaker and helped her husband with the farming. They enjoyed traveling in the winter on bus tours, visiting Florida, Alaska, California, and New York. A lifelong member of Bethany Reformed Church, she stayed active in the garden club and card club. Elizabeth crocheted many afghans and enjoyed quilting, sewing and embroidery work and especially visiting with family and friends over a cup of tea. Surviving Elizabeth is her niece: Mary Ann Greenwald of Mankato; a nephew: Leon Muller of Willmar; and other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Kasjen in 1982 and her parents, Henry and Dora.
