Edward Hubert

Edward C. Â?EddieÂ? Hubert was born on April 14, 1941 in Ericson township, Renville, Co., MN the son of William J. and Mae (Rothers) Hubert. He was baptized and confirmed in the catholic faith at St. Clara Catholic Church in Clara City, MN and attended both country school and elementary school in and near Sacred Heart. On February 7, 1964, Eddie was united in marriage to Marie A. Sulflow at St. Clara Catholic Church. He was employed for many years by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, camping, fixing on old cars and taking trips into the country. Eddie also liked listening to old time music and had it tuned on the radio whenever possible. He and Marie took many bus tours into Canada and the United States. Eddie was a faithful member of St. Clara Catholic Church in Clara City. In the afternoon hours of Saturday January 12, 2008, while in the loving presence of family, Eddie was called from this life at his residence in Sacred Heart, MN. He was 66 years of age. He is survived by his wife- Marie of Sacred Heart, MN; his daughter- Diane Meyer of Chaska, MN; his son- Alan Hubert of Willmar, MN; two sisters- Lorra Klinghagen of Clara City, MN and Wilma Heinks of Princeton, MN; three grandsons- Kyle Meyer, Ryan Meyer & Dylan Meyer and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother- Freddy.
