Dorothy Gustafson

Dorothy Ann Tostenson was born March 14, 1939
to Edwin and Eleanora Tostenson. She was baptized
and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church in rural
Montevideo. She graduated from Montevideo High
School. Dorothy was united in marriage to Kenneth L.
Anderson on September 29, 1956. They were blessed
with four children: Joel, Steven, Bonita and Michele.
Dorothy worked at the Watson State Bank and Minnwest Bank. After the
untimely death of her husband Kenneth on January 3, 1977, Dorothy was
united in marriage to Wayne Gustafson on August 9, 1980, and they
were blessed with 37 years of happiness!
Dorothy enjoyed fishing, quilting, gardening, baking, cooking and being
involved with the Watson Lutheran Church. But most of all she loved
spending time with her husband, family and friends, and attending
activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Wayne, children: Joel Anderson
(Helen) of Mesa, AZ, Steven Anderson (Shelly) of Springfield, MN,
Bonita Braulick (Kevin) of Sleepy Eye, MN, Michele Amborn (Kevin)
of Montevideo, MN, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is
also survived by her brothers, Arlo Tostenson (Janet) of Milan, MN,
Kenneth Tostenson (Darlene) of Montevideo, MN, her in-laws, Monte
and Evie Anderson, Ingrid Simonson, Karen and Terry Lee, Roger and
Jeri Hall, Tom and Iris Loland, and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by, her parents,
her husband Kenneth, her sister, sister-in-law,
two brother-in-laws and a nephew.
