Doris Solberg

Doris Solberg was born September 27, 1918, the daughter of Hans & Susan White, in Minneapolis. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed at the Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church on May 17, 1932. She graduated from the Roosevelt High School in June of 1936. She was united in marriage to Walter Solberg on November 28, 1947, in Minneapolis. To this union one child was born. Doris was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. Doris passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Valin Senior Care in Montevideo. She was 95 years of age. She is survived by her son Brian (Tami) Solberg of Montevideo; step grandchildren: Erin, Jared, Darcy, Kelcy; step great grandchildren: Kaidence, Lucien, Laiken, Kingston, Taden, Aleah & Skyler and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1970. The family of Doris Solberg would like to thank you for your attendance today and the many acts of kindness shown during their time of loss.
