Dora Beckler

Dora Marie Beckler was born on Nov. 28, 1929, in Bellingham. She attended country school and public school, graduating from Olivia High School in 1948. On December 26, 1950, Dora was united in marriage to Donald Beckler. She worked at various restaurant jobs and eventually at the Production Marketing Association prior to her marriage. She became a devoted homemaker and later worked for the Scenic Valley Motel in Granite Falls for 13 years until her retirement. Dora was a faithful member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Granite Falls and participated in numerous church related activities and belonged to the CCW. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Most recently, Dora had been a resident of the RenVilla Health Center in Renville. She was called peacefully from this life on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at the age of 80 years. Surviving Dora are her children- Charlene (& Roland) Danielson, Greg (& Barb) Beckler, Galen (& Deb) Beckler, Jim (& Mary) Beckler; Annette Beckler, Susan (& Mike) Zieske and Scott (& Jen) Beckler; grandchildren- Jeff Danielson, Robyn (& Dan) Aarhus, Kelly (& Kurt) Rhode, Amy (& Tim) Rhode, Jessica Beckler, Angie Beckler, Ethan Beckler, Chad Beckler, Danielle Reisenger (& Brad Hillebrand), Jamie Beckler (& Matt Shockley), Tyler Beckler (& Hailey Fisher), Jon Tjaden, Ryan Tjaden, Tabatha Tjaden, Samantha (& Eric) Kirk, Chase Dunsmore & Brock Beckler; great grandchildren- Jake, Shawn & Grace Aarhus, Zack & Cole Rhode, Kelsey, Brady & Bryan Rhode and Barret Hillebrand; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
