Donna Mae Lecy

Donna Mae (Jensen) Lecy was born on May 29, 1928, in Milroy, MN, the daughter of Andrew and Evie (Eddey) Lecy. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Donna was united in marriage to Merle Lecy on September 3, 1944 and assisted Buddy and her brother-in law Lester with their farming operation. Donna sold Avon products for many years and was also employed at the Crown Restaurant in Granite Falls. She also worked for Granite Drug Store for a few years and Fromm Drug for many years.
Donna was a loving and caring wife, mother and mother-in-law. She was devoted grandmother and always enjoyed sharing time with her grandchildren and family. She was a faithful member of Rock Valle Lutheran Church and participated in numerous church related activities.
During the late evening hours of Tuesday, December 30, 2014, with her loving daughter Sharon and son-in-law Darrel at her side, Donna was called from this life while a resident of Avera Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. She was 86 years of age.
Donna is survived by her daughter Sharon (& Darrel) Muhl of Minneota; 5 grandchildren- Jeff (& Beth Ann) Muhl of Granite Falls, Wendy (& Gary) VanWinkle of Echo, Brian (& Kris) Muhl of Princeton, Troy (& Martha) Muhl of Minneota, and Chad (& Carmen) Muhl of Foley; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding Donna in death were her parents- Andrew & Evie Jensen; her husband- Merle H. ‘Buddy’ Lecy; brothers- Raymond & Marvel Jensen, Manley & Karen Jensen and Dale & Verna Jensen; one sister- Lena & Melvin Nelson.
