Donna Renee Freeman, age 60, of Boyd, passed away peacefully February 14th, 2022, at Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, South Dakota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Friday February 25th at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday evening at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to services on Friday.
Donna was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend but her favorite title was Grandma. Anytime spent with them was absolutely priceless and brought the utmost joy into her life and love to her heart. Then, there's her four-legged, best friend ever Sacul who she absolutely adored. They knew each other's daily schedule and spent so much time together. I'm not sure who was truly happier to see who. She's never loved a dog as much as she loved him. With small towns come great neighbors, Whitey. She cherished their friendship beyond measure, she thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking. It brought her so much joy just to bring him treats.
She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, listening to music and most importantly staying busy. Through her we know exactly what selflessness, love and strength truly looks like. She had a heart of gold and always put others first. She loved helping her family and friends. Her memory will always be treasured by her family, friends.
Donna is survived by and will forever be loved by her husband Willard "Skip" Freeman. Her children Josh (Meagan), Jessica (Jake) and Justen. Along with stepchildren Nick (Anne), Nate (Stephanie) and Neal (Jackie) Her pride and joy of all her many grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother Carol and her beloved son Jonathan Myron Lanphear in 2002.
