Donna LaDean Blahosky was born July 19, 1940 in Odessa, Minnesota the daughter of John and Sophie Schulte. She passed away February 17, 2014 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 73. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith attending St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Bellingham. Donna grew up in Bellingham and attended high school there through her junior year. She transferred to Starbuck High School and graduated with the Class of 1958. On December 28, 1958 she was united in marriage to Paul Blahosky at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bellingham. Their union was blessed with three children. Donna worked as a bookkeeper for Montevideo Metal & Manufacturing and later worked at KMGM in sales and management. She later started ?The Sunshine Basket?, a community greeting service. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Montevideo Chamber of Commerce and active with the Mrs. Jaycees. Donna loved to dance, play golf and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She was a devoted wife and loving mother who liked to spend time with friends and loved spending time with her family. Donna is survived by Paul, her husband of 55 years; their children: Cara (Larry) Ledwith, Lisa Patton and Craig Blahosky; grandson: Cade Ledwith; brother: Eugene (Margaret) Schulte; sisters: Adeline (Gerald) Leland, Virginia (George) Novak, Janice (Mario) Comelio, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Sophie; brothers: Hilbert, Robert, and Wallace; sisters: Jeanette Swanson, Irene Stock, and Alice Pansch.
