Don Schuldt

Donald Ivan Schuldt was born June 21, 1956 in Montevideo, the son of Robert and DeLoris Schuldt. He passed away Monday, November 5, 2012 at his home in Montevideo.Don was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo. He grew up and attended school in Montevideo graduating with the class of 1975.On September 25, 1976 Don was united in marriage to Jodie Dodd at Rosewood Methodist Church. To this union two children were born.Don worked for Bituminous Paving, Tostenson Inc., and the last 18 years he worked for the Chippewa County Highway Department.He enjoyed fishing and road hunting and especially enjoyed going for rides in his 1969 Corvette around Lac qui Parle Lake. Don liked to spend time with family and friends visiting over a beer, but his greatest enjoyment came spending time with his grandchildren.Don is survived by his wife, Jodie Schuldt of Montevideo; children: Terry (Michelle Buseman) Schuldt of Montevideo; Tracy (Joey) Viessman of Montevideo; grandchildren: Taylor, Jackson, Justine, and Danica; his brother Russ (Linda) Schuldt of Clarkfield; twin brother Ron Schuldt of Fort Worth, Texas; sisters: Diana (LeRoy) Mamer of Dawson; Lynda (Kermit) Teichert of Buffalo; Pam (Jan) Thralls of Fort Worth, Texas; father and mother-in-law Neal & Dona Dodd of Alexandria; sisters-in-law: Lori (Ken) Terhaar of Burnsville, Ann ( Doug) Van Watermulen of Eagan, and Kelly (Dan) Duffy of White Bear Lake and nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sandi Holt.
