Diana Christina Lindblom Gonzalez was born February 15, 1966, in Staples, Minnesota the daughter of Ronald Sr. & Eloise Lindblom. She was baptized in Maynard Lutheran Church. She graduated from Maynard High School in 1984. After graduation she attended Mankato State University. Diana loved fishing, camping, gardening, spending time with her kids and most of all enjoying her grandchildren.
Her family remembers her as a hard working loving mother. She loved helping others whenever she could. Her kids and grandkids meant the world to her. Diana was a general manager at Dairy Queen in Granite Falls and worked at Kelly’s Korner until she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. She went through many treatments. Diana was in remission until November of 2013, when she was re-diagnosed with metastasized breast cancer. She went through multiple rounds of chemo and radiation. She fought a hard battle for 16 months. She lost her battle to breast cancer on March 12, 2015, at Rice Memorial Hospital surrounded by all of her family.
She is survived by her husband Armando Gonzalez; parents Ronald Sr. & Eloise Lindblom of Maynard; siblings: Ronald Jr. Lindblom of Maynard; Theresa Mahlum (Mike Suilmann) of Rosemount; Edward (Janell) Lindblom of Faribault, Michael Lindblom of Maynard & John (Kjersti) Lindblom of Sacred Heart; five children: Christina (Joel) Haas of Litchfield; Esmerelda Elizondo (Robert Rodriguez Jr.) of Sacred Heart; Kayla (Salustiano) Galvez of Sacred Heart; Steven Wilkins of Maynard & Nicole Lindblom of Sacred Heart; eleven grandchildren: Alixzandar, Carlos, Chance, Aurora, Damian, Avasynn, Elizabeth, Joshua, Caliyena, Vicente & Joaquin; grandmother Alverna Folwick; and thirteen nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Axel & Margeret Lindblom & Edward Folwick, niece Meagan Siemieniewski and her grandson Logan Haas.
