Dennis Ulven

Dennis Lyle Ulven was born on May 1, 1945 in Vesta, MN, the son of Lyle and Florence Ulven. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Belview, MN and attended school in Belview. On July 17, 1976, Dennis was united in marriage to Lorna Wilke of Starbuck, MN at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Granite Falls, MN. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending demo derbies, gardening, cooking, grilling and especially spending time with his family. He was employed by the Redi-Mix concrete company in Granite Falls for many years. Dennis was called from this life on Friday March 6, 2009, at the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital. He was 63 years of age. He is survived by his wife Lorna of Granite Falls, MN; his two daughters Jessica (& Luis) Arrazolo of Marshall, MN and Dodge City, KS and Jodie (& Juan) Gutierrez of Granite Falls, MN; granddaughters Cristina & Khalia Arrazolo of Dodge City, KS; sisters Sandra (& Robert) Manahan of Star Prairie, WI and Charlene (& Robert) Gullikson of Granite Falls, MN; one brother Curtis (& Lillian) Ulven of Montevideo, MN; many nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
