Dennis Byrd

Dennis Harold Byrd was born January 26, 1933 in Maynard the son of Norman and Edna (Quast) Bird. He passed away Saturday March 9, 2013 in Montevideo at the Luther Haven Nursing Home. Dennis was baptized and confirmed in to the Christian faith at Maynard Lutheran. He grew up and attended school in Maynard. Dennis painted houses in barns in the Maynard area for many years. He had the good fortune of having close friends in the Maynard community to watch out for him over the years. Dennis is survived by his sisters: Marcella Oberg of Vancouver, Washington; Delores Nokleby of Montevideo; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Edna; sister: Marlus Groothuis; brothers-in-law: Harvey Groothuis; Harold Oberg; and Clifford Nokleby.
