David Enstad

David Paul Enstad was born September 22, 1942, in Granite Falls, the son of Laurents & Idella (Anderson) Enstad. He was baptized and confirmed at the Stony Run Lutheran Church. David attended country school in District 22 and graduated from the Granite Falls High School. He studied auto mechanics and electrical in college.
David was employed with Victor Fluid as a machinist, worked for MTI in Montevideo, Hoffco, Inc. in Wood Lake and the Green Company.
David enjoyed playing the guitar and the accordion, sudoku puzzles and family gatherings. He was a big Minnesota Vikings fan and loved to go fishing.
David passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at the Granite Falls Health Care Center. He was 75 years of age.
He is survived by his significant other Dixie Johnson of Granite Falls, daughter Michelle Enstad of St. Cloud; two sisters: Corrine Steffen of Granite Falls and Marlys Lundin-Christianson of Benson; two brothers: Burger (Marlene) Enstad of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and Dennis Enstad of Granite Falls; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Glenda Worsech and Ina Harbar and one brother Allan.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Visitation one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
