David Duis

David Duis was born October 10, 1950 in Marshall, Minnesota the son of Leo and Audrey Duis. He passed away February 7, 2011 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. He attained the age of 60 years.David was baptized into the catholic faith and attended school in Minneota and Taunton.He was employed at the beet plant, worked as a truck driver and did tree trimming with his brother Steve, and recently had been farming.David had a love for ?old cars? and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music. He also enjoyed flower gardening, bird feeding, going to the casino, and driving around with his brother Steve. He especially loved spending time with his family, nieces and nephews, and friends.David is survived by his son Christopher Duis of Lake City, Iowa; siblings: Duane and Laura of Granite Falls, Minnesota; Steve and Shelly of Montevideo, Minnesota; Andrew and Leanne of Clarkfield, Minnesota; Curt and Jeanette of Clarkfield, Minnesota; Cheryl and Pat of Granite Falls, Minnesota; and Ricky and Brenda of Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Audrey; and brothers: Larry, Michael, and James in infancy.
