Darlene Knutson

Darlene Sharon Knutson was born on February 11, 1942 in Tracy, MN, the daughter of Clinton Arthur and Olga Beebout. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Milroy, and graduated from Milroy High School with the class of 1960. She then attended Johnson Beauty College in Mankato.
On June 23, 1962, Darlene was united in marriage to Earl Odell Knutson and they made their home in Granite Falls. Darlene continued with her hair dressing business until her passing.
Darlene enjoyed quilting, providing her clientele with quality hair dressing services, attending Al-Anon meetings, reading, volunteering at church, playing with her cat and visiting with family and friends. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at her Granite Falls residence. She was 73 years of age.
Surviving family include her daughters- Stacy Dellich (& special friend Daniel Szykulski) and Jonna (& Gordy) Brehmer both of Ramsey, MN; her grandsons- Hunter Brehmer of Ramsey, and Tanner Brehmer of Elk River; her granddaughter- Hailey Dellich of Ramsey; 2 brothers- Brad (& Christy) Beebout of Cottonwood, and Dick (& Eloise) Beebout of Lexington, KY; 4 nephews- Chuck, Scott, Ben & Tyson and 2 nieces-Dawna & Heather.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton and Olga, her husband Odell, and Odell’s parents Erland and Thea Knutson.
