Cynthia Mulligan

Cynthia "Cindy" Rae Mulligan was born on November 3, 1954, in Granite Falls, Minnesota, the daughter of Arne and Esther (Minsaas) Frovik. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Granite Falls Lutheran Church and attended Granite Falls High School.
On March 26, 1981, Cindy was united in marriage to Robert Mulligan in Watertown, South Dakota. They made their home in Granite Falls.
Cindy was a devoted wife and loving mother. Lovingly called ‘Nana’ by her family, she fought hard to overcome her physical afflictions with cancer. On September 11, 2018, surrounded by family, she lost her battle and was called from this life while a resident of the Granite Falls Health Care Center. Cindy was 63 years of age.
Cindy loved visiting with her family and friends, cooking, and gardening. “Nana” deeply appreciated the love of her grandchildren.
Cindy is survived by her husband Robert of Granite Falls; her children, Melissa (Matt) Martin of Granite Falls, Angela Ross of Montevideo, Jason (Tania) Ross of Inver Grove Heights; her sisters, Karen (Gary) Mills, Lynette (Lon) Manee, all of Granite Falls; brother, David (Nancy) Frovik of Apple Valley; granddaughters, Ariana Ross, Anisty Ross, Anisa Rios, Autumn Ross; grandsons, Samuel Lemire, Silas Ross-Zetah, Raleigh Heidecker and Grayson Heidecker; numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones & friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Justin W. Ross; her grandparents, Gus Minsaas, Lucille Steinbach, Edwin Steinbach, Torjus (Tom) Frovik and Dina (Olsdatter) Frovik.
