Cindy Klinghagen, 65, of Clara City, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 10:30 am at Bethany Reformed Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Bethany Reformed Church and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Cynthia Klinghagen was born on January 13, 1957, the daughter of Harold & Viola (Neuman) Scheer in Granite Falls, MN. Cindy was baptized and confirmed in St John’s Lutheran Church in Wood Lake, MN. She attended school in Wood Lake.
Cindy was united in marriage to Randy Klinghagen on October 25, 1975, in Wood Lake, MN. They made their home in rural Clara City. The marriage was blessed with one son. Cindy waitressed in her younger years along with working at REM. She continued to work with Health Providers and eventually moved into an administration position at CCMC in Montevideo where she retired January 2022.
She was a member of Bethany Reformed Church of Clara City. She loved spending time with her grandkids, attending their many activities and spoiling them. She also enjoyed time at the lake with family and friends especially around the campfire.
Cindy passed away on Friday May 6, 2022, at St Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN at the age of 65 years.
Cindy is survived by her husband Randy of 46 years, son Keith & (JoHannah) Klinghagen along with 3 grandchildren Cooper, Maverick and Gentry, Sister-in-law Beatrice Scheer along with many nieces and nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Harold & Viola Scheer, infant son Nathan and her brother Verlin Scheer.
