Cora Meyer

Cora Nellie Reinholt Meyer was born on January 25, 1915 in Maynard, Minnesota to Ben and Anna Schroeder. She was baptized and confirmed in Bethany Reformed Church of Clara City and received her formal education in rural country school and Clara City Public School. On October 6, 1937, she was united in marriage to Arthur L. Reinholt. This union was blessed with two daughters. After Arthur's death, she married Tjark Meyer in Clara City on November 12, 1971. Cora enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, and gardening. She especially loved time spent with her family. On Saturday, November 29th, Cora was called to her heavenly home while a resident of the Woodbury Health Care Center. She was 93 years old. Cherishing her memory are her daughters: Emilie (James) Gerdes and Bonnie Haen; her grandchildren: Kimberly Griffiths, Kresson Hrdlichka, Jerome Haen, Robert Haen and Nancy Slupe as well as seven great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands Arthur Reinholt and Tjark Meyer, her son-in-law John Haen and an infant grandson. May her memory be blessed.
