Clayton Saunders, age 69, of St. Cloud, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 at Doncaster Cemetery in Granite Falls, Minnesota.
Clayton Frank Saunders was born on March 28, 1953, in Montevideo, Minnesota, the son of Frank and Celia (Beavers) Saunders. He was baptized and confirmed as a child. He attended school in Montevideo and graduated.
After high school, Clayton had various jobs and was blessed with 6 children, Nicole, Shannon, Annie, Krystal, Benjamin and Erik. He lived most of his life in Edina, but also spent time in Shakopee before moving to St. Cloud.
Clayton loved attending trade shows and perusing sports memorabilia. He enjoyed watching Westerns and sports on TV, with baseball being a preference.
Clayton is survived by his children, Nicole, Shannon, Annie, Krystal, Benjamin Saunders, Erik Saunders, Dillon; as well as other relatives and friends.
Clayton is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Celia Saunders.
