Clarence Scott

Clarence A. Scott was born April 5, 1918, in Bryce Township, Todd County, Minnesota, the son of Andrew and Josephine (Johnson) Scott. He passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the Granite Falls Hospital in Granite Falls, Minnesota. He attained the age of 90 years. Scotty grew up in Swanville, Minnesota and attended school there. After graduation from St. Cloud State University he attended Northwestern Chiropractic College.On June 27, 1945 Scotty was united in marriage to Sylvia Prill in Long Prairie, Minnesota. To this union three daughters were born.He was very proud to own his chiropractic practice and thoroughly enjoyed all of his clients for the thirty years he was in business. He retired from his practice in 1983. He enjoyed dancing, football, and baseball. Scotty is survived by his wife, Sylvia Scott of Granite Falls; daughters: LoyAnn (Don) Anderson of Delano, Minnesota; Reeva (Sam) Lodermeier of Delano, Minnesota; Alida (Shawn) Flynn of Granite Falls, Minnesota; seven grandchildren: Kim Anderson, Paula Schumacher, Teri Miller; Stacy Jacobson, Scott Lodermeier, Kelly Flynn, Jamie Flynn; great grandchildren: Nathan Schumacher, Jake Schumacher, Alex Jacobson, Morgan Miller, Jayna Miller; sister, Marion Erickson; sisters-in-law: Jeanette Prill and Irene Prill. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents: Andrew and Josephine Scott, and sister, Myrtle Scott; brothers in-law: Jerry Erickson and Edward Prill.
