Carol Schuller

Carol Marie Schuller was born on March 8, 1949, in Montevideo, MN, the daughter of Russell and Ida Schuller. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Clara Catholic Church in Clara City, MN and graduated from high school in Maynard. She then went on to attend Nursing School in St. Paul, MN. Carol pursued her career in nursing and prior to her physical limitations, she was employed as a nurse at the Clara City Care Center. For the past 14 years, Carol was a resident of the Clara City Care Center. She enjoyed going on Care Center sponsored outings, shopping, going out to eat, going to the casino, playing cards & backgammon and visiting with family and her many Care Center friends. In the early morning hours of February 17, 2011, while a patient at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital, Carol was called peacefully from this life. She was 61 years of age.Surviving family include her mother Ida Schuller of Clara City, MN; her brother William (& Nancy) Schuller of Montevideo, MN; her sisters Evelyn Slettedahl of Watertown, SD and Kathy Schuller of Mountain Iron, MN; her special caregiver & dear friend Mary Jo Prekker of Clara City, MN and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
