Brian Kirschbaum, age 69, of Buffalo Lake and formerly of Granite Falls passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Buffalo Lake Health Care Center. Memorial services will be held at Monday, May 17, 2021 at Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls. Interment followed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.
Brian Curtis Kirschbaum was born on March 3, 1952, in Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was the son of Roger and Elsie (Strey) Kirschbaum. Brian attended school until he enlisted in the United States Army on August 6, 1969 Minneapolis, Minnesota. He served his country in Korea before being honorably discharged on March 16, 1971.
Brian returned to Granite Falls and married Deborah and had 3 sons. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3871.
Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, firing guns and playing cards. He looked forward to attending the local races and also watching NASCAR. Brian loved watching western movies on TV.
Brian is survived by his sons, Stacy (Abby) Kirschbaum of Hector, Tracy (fiancée, Shannon Hable) Kirschbaum of Stewart, Heath Kirschbaum of Clarkfield; grandchildren, Mckenzie Jeseritz, Tori Jeseritz, Olivia Kirschbaum, Jack Kirschbaum, Greta Kirschbaum, Damian Polfliet, Trinity Jo Kirschbaum, Charlie Hable, Trinity Jean Kirschbaum, Jason Kirschbaum, Ashley Kirschbaum, Alexander Kirschbaum, Leonidas Kirschbaum; great grandchild, Jordan Jeseritz; sister, Linda (Kenny) Tolan of Blaine; brother, David Kirschbaum of Granite Falls; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Brian is preceded in death by parents, Roger and Elsie Kirschbaum; brothers, Bruce Kirschbaum, Lee Kirschbaum, Kim Kirschbaum.
