Brian Fischer

Brian Fischer, 62, of Clara City, passed away on Friday, July 16th. A Celebration of Life will be held August 7th from 2 to 4:00 pm at the Clara City Community Center.
Brian Dale Fischer was born June 18, 1959, the son of Henry P. and Mary Ann (Ammermann) Fischer in Willmar, Minnesota. He was baptized in the Bunde Christian Reformed Church. Brian graduated from the Clara City High School in 1978.
He started working for Cargil in Gluek and then moved to Minneapolis for a number of years. He returned to the Clara City area and began working as a machine operator for Crosby Construction. He enjoyed working outside and traveling. In his spare time, he would go camping with friends and collected stamps and coins. Brian always had a lot of patience with his nieces and nephews. He also had a special place in his heart for animals.
He is survived by his siblings: Mike (Colleen) of Clara City, Mark (Darla) of Prinsburg, Rick of Clara City and Melissa (Mark) Rhode of Clara City; sister-in-law Mary Fischer; stepdaughter Deseree Naffziger of Brainerd; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonnie Fischer, brothers: Brad and Roy and his niece Rita Pomerenke.
