Brian Baragar

Brian Gene Baragar, Sr., was born on April 10, 1969, in Minneapolis, the son of Karen (Daniels) Baragar. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith and attended Big Lake Public School. He was united in marriage to Michelle Marie McKnight in April of 1987 and was later united in marriage to Kelly Jo Knutson in Memorial Park in Granite Falls. Brian worked in and was very talented in all aspects of the construction business, but mostly enjoyed masonry. He was an avid outdoorsman and nothing made him happier than sharing his knowledge of hunting and fishing with his children. He also enjoyed boating, camping and any outdoor activity with his family and friends. On the morning of March 28, 2015, Brian was called home to the loving arms of our Lord, where he found comfort and relief from his earthly ailments. His passing occurred while a patient in Avera-McKennen Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. He was 45 years of age. Brian is survived by his loving wife Kelly; his children- Rashal Baragar, Brian Baragar, Jr., Aaron Baragar, Skylar Schroeder, Nevada Schroeder and Ginger Baragar; his mother- Karen Baragar; mother-in-law Barbara Formo; father-in-law David Knutson; brothers- Kevin Baragar, Anthony (& Denise) Sargent and Allen Sargent; sister- Angeline Sargent; sisters-in-law Cari (& Steve) Alley, Michelle Baragar and Alisha Baragar; 10 nephews; 1 niece and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his biological father- Donald Sargent; father- Orville ‘Bud’ Baragar; brother- Steven Baragar; grandmothers- Jeanne Johnson and Sothie Lorenson; grandfather- Telford Johnson and a nephew- Brandon Sargent.
