Beulah Margaret Olson Miller was born October 10, 1912 on a farm in Minnesota Falls Township, rural Minnesota to Obert and Iona Olson. She was their only daughter. She attended two years of school in District 3 before the family moved to Granite Falls where she finished high school. She completed a teacher training course in Montevideo and taught school for seven years.
During WWII, she married Merle Miller on April 26, 1942 in Berkley, California. After his five years in the service, they returned to Granite Falls in 1952 and Beulah was city librarian for eight years. The couple attended the United Church of Christ (Congregational) Church where Beulah taught Sunday School for twenty years and was the adult leader of the Pilgrim Fellowship for five years.
Beulah died peacefully on Tuesday morning, October 3rd, 2017; one week shy of her 105th birthday.
Cherishing her memory are her daughter Nancy and her husband Jim Greenwood of Maple Grove, granddaughter Erin and her husband Jeff Sanders of Boulder, Colorado, grandson Todd and his wife Kim and their daughters Lucy and Nellie of Breckenridge, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Obert Olson, two beloved brothers: Donald and Howard, and her treasured husband of fiftyeight years, Merle.
