Betty Bauer-Hall, 85, of Montevideo, passed away Thursday, January 13th at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21st at 11:00 am at Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Betty Lorraine Bauer Hall was born July 8, 1936, the daughter of Louis & Ruth (Olson) Enevoldsen, in Montevideo. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
Betty was united in marriage to Gene Bauer on April 19, 1958, in Sherman, South Dakota. They raised their family in Montevideo. Betty enjoyed quilting, garage sales, crafting, puzzles and sudoku. Gene and their daughter, Lorna, passed away in airplane accident.
Betty was always there for her family and loved spending time with them. She always strived to be the greatest mother and grandmother she could be. She was united in marriage to Howard Hall on November 29, 1975, in Montevideo.
Betty passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home in Montevideo. She was 85 years of age. She is survived by her children: Lynn (Elaine) Bauer of Andover, Lee Bauer of Montevideo and Lonny (Sheleen) Bauer of Spearfish, South Dakota; daughter-in-law Andra Hall of Montevideo; grandchildren: Dustin Bauer, Nelson Bauer, Harrison Bauer, Gabe Bauer, Elsa Bauer, Ashley Hall, Jesse Hall and Olya Carter; great grandchild Gracie Bauer; siblings: Leslie Enevoldsen of Montevideo, Ruth Ann Loving of Federal Way, Washington, Phyllis Berglund of Montevideo and Louise Enevoldsen of Montevideo; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene Bauer, daughter Lorna, son Larry (Jamie) Bauer, grandson Lucas Bauer, son Jason Hall and brother LeRoy Enevoldsen.
