Artis E. Olson, age 83, passed away peacefully at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta, Minnesota on February 6, 2020. She was born on the family farm in Meeker County on August 12, 1936. Artis is survived by husband, Richard of Granite Falls; daughter, Diane (Paul) Hanson of Eden Prairie; son, Neal (Marji) Olson of Plymouth; grandchildren, Jacob (Kayla) Hanson, Emily Hanson, Jessica Hanson, Olivia Olson, Audrey Olson, Alec Olson; sister, Claire Rustemeier Hinz of Buffalo Center, IA; as well as other relatives and friends.
Artis is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Jeanette Bemis; a son at birth; brother, Milton Bemis; brothers-in-law, Dennis Rustemeier, Roy Hinz.
