Arnold Clarence ‘Arnie’ Ninneman was born on Feb. 19, 1921, in Lakefield, MN, the son of Gustive and Ella (Ulfferts) Ninneman. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith and proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in February of 1946.
On June 8, 1952, Arnie was united in marriage to his soul mate Mittie Louise Baughman in Spirit Lake, IA. They then moved to the Murdock, MN area where Arnie began farming on his own. Eventually they moved to Kerkhoven. In 1980, Arnie and Mittie moved to Montevideo, MN. Arnie was disabled in an automobile accident and Mittie passed away on May 17, 2006. Arnie most recently resided for a time in the Madison/Appleton area and was most recently a resident on Lac Qui Parle Village.

He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hard worker and in his spare time, he enjoyed listening to polka music, watching football games, WWF Wrestling and loved Clint Eastwood movies.
