Arian Quinn Mitlyng was born October 18, 1994 in Montevideo the daughter of Scott and Teresa Mitlyng. She lost her life on April 21, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident. She was baptized at Baxter Lutheran Church and grew up near Watson. Arian attended Montevideo High School and was a senior with the soon to be graduating class of 2013. Arian was active in dance as a child where she belonged to the Puttin on the Ritz Dance Studio. Her love of dance carried on as a member of the Montevideo Gold Duster Dance Team that participated in State. She was also active in volleyball, track, and softball.She enjoyed motor sports, snowmobiles and hunting. She shot her first deer in 2011 near Frazee on a family hunting trip. Recently, Arian was participating in the High School Clay Trap League. Arian loved and cared for animals of all kinds. She had a pet dog Rocco, miniature horses ?Tiger Lily and Thunder? along with goats, birds and fish. She was currently working at Running's and was an aspiring artist with a talent for drawing and photography. She also worked at Kinder Kare where it was much more than just a job. She truly loved spending time with the kids. Arian is survived by her parents: Scott and Teresa Mitlyng of Watson and brothers: Tad, Daylen and Carson all at home; grandparents: Janice Mitlyng of Montevideo; Terry (Carol) Litke of Dawson; uncles: Robert Litke and family; David Litke and family; and aunt: Becky Mitlyng and family. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jay Mitlyng and grandmother Jayne Hardcastle.
