Agnes Kattevold

Agnes Kattevold was born on March 13, 1930 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to John and Anna Brill. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Church in Ashford. Agnes attended school at Ashford through the 8th grade. She received her GED in her later years after her children graduated from high school.Agnes enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved music-she played the accordion and Hawaiian guitar. She was involved in many of the activities her children were members of, such as Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, MN High School Rodeo Association, wresting, basketball, and volleyball. She enjoyed making crafts, and in the summer you would often find her at flea markets selling the things she made. She loved playing cards, games and putting puzzles together.Agnes is survived by her children: Sue (Jerry) Stanaway of Minneapolis, David (Sol) Goschey of Fridley, Rosy (Mike) Conboy of Clara City, Jeff (Sherry) Goschey of Maynard, Rick (Ann) Goschey of Anoka, Mary (Terry) Kjersten of Sacred Heart, Kathy (Corrie) Swenson of Clara City, Gail (Kim) Muller of Willmar, Deb (Steve) Gunderson of Norcross, Alan (Jennifer) Kattevold of Maynard, 35 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; one sister Rose (Donald) Lackas of Campbellsport, WI; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband- Merald (Bud) Kattevold, parents ? John and Anna Brill, and brother- James Brill.
