Agnes Margaret Dannen was born February 11, 1932, the daughter of Harry & Blanche Schoen, in Clara City. She attended St. Clara Parochial School and graduated from the Clara City High School. Agnes was united in marriage to Lowell Dannen August 31, 1953, in Watertown, South Dakota. She enjoyed flowers, fishing, taking trips, driving around Lac qui Parle, crocheting, sewing and reading. She was always busy in her garden or canning, as well as volunteering many hours at the nursing home.Agnes passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. She was 79 years of age.She is survived by her three daughters: Virginia (Howard) Levine of Nashville, Tennessee; Donna (Roger) Hollenhorst of West St. Paul and Kay (Steve) Daeger of Roseville; three grandchildren: Courtney Hollenhorst, Alex and Tony Daeger; sister Phyllis Engstrom of Deltona, Florida and Duane Schoen of Arizona; and several extended family and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2001 and one brother Daryl Schoen.
