Adela Espinoza, 52, of Hanley Falls, passed away on Friday November 20, 2020, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 27th at 10:30am at Iglesia Apostolic Church in Cottonwood. Burial will be held at Granite Falls City Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Adela Espinoza was born August 18, 1968, the daughter of Juan Sr. & Anita (Lopez) Rodriquez, in Petersburg, Texas. She attended several different schools growing up and graduated from the Willmar High School in 1987. Adela worked as a certified nurses assistant and a trained medication aide.
Adela was united in marriage to Arnoldo Espinoza on August 17, 1991, in Granite Falls. They made their home in Hanley Falls. Adela worked for the Yellow Medicine East School District as a Para Professional Hispanic Liaison for several years.
Adela was very involved with her church, volunteering and planning events. She had a heart to serve and was always more than happy to assist in whatever was needed. Adela enjoyed sewing and baking. She cherished time spent with family and friends.
Adela passed away on Friday November 20, 2020, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. She was 52 years of age.
She is survived by her husband Arnoldo, children: Sabrina Espinoza of North Mankato and John (Taylor) Espinoza of Marshall; siblings: Joshua (Andrea) Rodriquez of Hanley Falls, Roberto Rodriquez of Hanley Falls, Javier (Iris) Rodriquez of Hanley Falls, Jesse Rodriquez of Texas, Anthony Rodriquez of Marshall, Paul Rodriquez of Hanley Falls, Armando (Guadalupe) Rodriquez of Hanley Falls, Rachel Rodriquez of Willmar, Mary Ellen (Humberto) Garcia of Texas, Gracie (Jeff) Bunnell of Granite Falls, Rose Marie (David) Guevara of Willmar and Rosa Linda (Esequiel) Tarin of Hanley Falls; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Juan Jr, and nieces: Jessica and Lydia Espinoza.
