Abel Chaparro Sr

Abel DuJaun Chaparro, Sr. was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico on Dec. 30, 1962, the son of Ernesto and Nicolasa (Perez) Chaparro. He grew up and attended school in Aguada.
Abel enjoyed fishing, doing yard work and construction. The shorter list would be of the things he didn’t enjoy! He was a jack of all trades, an accomplished handyman, loved animals and liked to say that his only true friends were his dogs. He was a compassionate man, always willing to help out if needed. Abel was a friend to many and a loving and caring family man.
He is survived by his wife Wendy; daughter Nicole; sons Juan (& wife Amber) Chaparro and Abel Chaparro, Jr. all of Granite Falls, MN and Jonathan Chaparro of Minneapolis, MN; sisters Rosa (& husband Enrique), Camelia (& husband Kenny) and Alisa all of Puerto Rico; brothers Ernesto & Israel Chaparro of Chicago, IL; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
